Erie Insurance Arena (formally known as the Tullio) is big boost for downtown
I’m not a fan of naming things after corporations, so I’m sure Erie’s arena will always be the Tullio to me. But since this is a done deal, two things: Erie Insurance must share its new parking garage in the space it has gobbled up next to the arena (across 8th Street and not yet built, but will be the largest-capacity parking structure in the city), and here’s hoping they re-up after the 10 year contract expires so we don’t have to rename the arena again. Thanks to Erie News for the heads-up.
